I've never really given it a shot because of bleed damage. It might be decent in pve but it's gonna make things more complicated against opponents that can't bleed, like the iron golem About pvp, I think the self-bleed activates even when the hit didn't register thanks to latency, and since that happens a lot you'll end up building up bleed without actually damaging the opponent. Very Strong.
But can easily kill you. Per page: 15 30 Date Posted: 25 Feb, am. Posts: Discussions Rules and Guidelines. Note: This is ONLY to be used to report spam, advertising, and problematic harassment, fighting, or rude posts.

Decent dex scaling: B. Rock a bloodbite ring and bloodshield for bleed buildup. Theyre not fast but theyre awesome. Chaos Legion Str weapons covenant.
Also equip the bloodbite ring if you are not going to wear heavy armor. I play a level 9 Lifehunt build lowest level possible to wear it. It's quite awesome to play the reaper, for low level pvps also useful, as long as you have any kind of additional offhand like GC or a small weapon, because even at low level people run around with heavy armor and blood res.
Anyone who says the damage is bad isn't using the spell right. If you hit the softcaps for dark miracle damage 45 Intelligence and Faith and use the dark miracle specific catalysts the damage it deals is about on par with Lightning Stake, discounting absorption. And you get healed. And it casts slightly faster than lightning stake 1. This might actually be one of the most FP efficient offensive miracles in the game. Added a little tidbit of info. Catalysts which scale with faith and intelligence only consider your faith level when healing with this spell.
Another note for PvP users, Lifehunt Scythe has the same cast time as Sunlight Spear, therefore making it a spell capable of trading hits in any instance where Sunlight Spear can. However, we know that Lifehunt Scythe does not have damage on par with Sunlight Spear, and for good reason too because it is not intended to be as powerful a spell.
Yet, if you build your character appropriately for utilizing dark spells, you can deal damage on par with Lightning Stake WHILE healing your character for a little over hp, which in turn makes your damage taken to damage received ratio when trading hits equal to that of Sunlight Spear. Don't believe me? Here's what you need to do.
I have done this, tested it in PvP, and Lifehunt Scythe deals an average of damage against players, while giving you a heal of around The conclusion to be reached is that Lifehunt Scythe, when built appropriately, is a miracle that can trade hits against any Ultra weapon in the game, giving you an extra tool to use as a wielder of dark spells.
